I meant to post this many months ago when I was shopping for my Prius.

Interesting to see Toyota updating its BZ EV and apparently radically improving it. What is appealing to me is the simplicity that it is bringing to the table.

My current 2024 Prius is amazing (albeit small), in my 1000 mile weekly commute for work I get pretty close to 500 miles on a 10 gallon tank with it (I could push it to 600 miles by going way less than posted interstate speeds). I do plan to keep it for the long haul. Will see how Toyota’s commitment to this EV fares. With my level of commuting, an EV makes absolute sense. Until you think of the investment for charging at home, availability of infrastructure, and the crazy cold weather in the winter that severely diminishes range. I suppose we are almost there.
